Located on the banks of the River Dee, the town hosts the annual Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod.
Each July this world-famous festival attracts audiences of nearly 100,000 people.
There is much to see in the town and local area.
Llangollen is home to a steam railway, a motor musuem and you can take a trip on a horse-drawn narrow boat on the nearby canal.
The town also makes an excellent base to explore Snowdonia and the Welsh Borders.
